Ndata Bobb died at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh after emergency crews rushed to a home on Restalrig Avenue in the early hours of Thursday August 28. Police had been called around 1am following reports of a disturbance at the property. Bobb, who was 43, was taken to the hospital for treatment but did not survive.

Her death has since been described as “shocking,” and tributes have poured in from family, friends and former colleagues. Her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers during what police called an extremely difficult time, as reported by the BBC .

A 55-year-old man was also taken to St John’s Hospital for treatment. He was later arrested and charged in connection with Bobb’s death and is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday
