A man who stormed his former workplace and stabbed five of his ex-colleagues will spent 16 years in prison. 31-year-old Babah Sesay, of Rodney Road, Southwark , burst into as busy distribution centre in Marlowe Way, Beddington, on the morning of Thursday, January 23.

He attacked his former colleagues and they tried to apprehend him. Five men were taken to hospital following the incident - one in his 50s, two in their 30s and two in their 20s - where their injuries were confirmed to be non-life-threatening or life-changing.

Sesay then fled the scene but was located at a fast food restaurant shortly after the attack. He was taken to hospital with minor injuries following the arrest, before being transferred to custody.
