Nigel Farage has caused outrage by choosing to spend the first two days after parliament’s summer recess helping Donald Trump instead.

The Reform UK leader is flying to Washington this week, allegedly to speak about “getting mass deportations done” at the National Conservatism conference in the US capital on Tuesday.

It’s worth remembering Farage has actually never managed to “get mass deportations done”, having only unveiled that plan for asylum seekers who come to Britain last week.

While he did succeed with his campaign to get Britain out of the EU, there’s been a spike in net migration to the UK since Brexit .
