Michigan football linebacker Jaishawn Barham will be suspended for the first half of the Wolverines' game against Oklahoma on Saturday, Sept. 6, after he was ejected from the game for targeting.

Barham was ejected in the third quarter of Michigan's 34-17 win over New Mexico on Saturday, Aug. 30.

The incident occurred when Barham sacked Lobos quarterback Jack Layne for a loss of 12 yards, to the New Mexico 22, and forced what was thought to be a fumble. Barham recovered the ball and ran it back for a touchdown.
