Police are investigating after a young driver allegedly fled the scene of a North York collision on foot.

According to Toronto police, a two-vehicle crash was reported in the area of Weston Road and Lanyard Road at approximately 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Officers say the driver of one of the vehicles fled the scene on foot. He is described as a Black male between the ages of 20 and 25. He was last seen wearing dark jeans, a black hoodie and a white t-shirt, possibly with blood on it.

Roads in the area are closed for an investigation. No other details were released.
