A holidaymaker has been discovered deceased at a well-known tourist destination, with various substances found within his accommodation.
The demise of the 36 year old gentleman at the Soi Ta-iad hotel in Phuket is not being regarded as suspicious by Thai authorities. Law enforcement officials confirmed no evidence of violence was detected on the individual's body, whilst sleeping tablets, Viagra, cannabis and alcoholic beverages were all recovered from the room.
Examinations are currently taking place, though preliminary police assessments suggest the substances may have played a role in his death. Authorities are awaiting toxicology results and are interviewing hotel personnel whilst examining security camera recordings.
