TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Firefighters are investigating the cause of a blaze at a Twin Falls house on Sunday morning.

Firefighters rushed to a house along Meadowview Lane near Joellen Drive just after 10:30 a.m. after reports of a structure fire, according to the Twin Falls Fire Department. The Rock Creek Fire District responded after firefighters spotted a dark plume of smoke en route to the neighborhood.

One person was in the house when the fire started, but the fire department said the person escaped immediately. No injuries occurred from the fire.

Flames torched the house’s garage, scorching the roof above it. The fire also spread to the front of a car on the driveway. The blaze threatened at least one adjacent house, which luckily did not catch fire.
