Drafted in the fourth round (86th overall) by the Buffalo Bills in 1985 out of Kutztown University, Reed emerged as a reliable target in the Bills’ high-powered offense, contributing to their dominance in the early 1990s despite no Super Bowl wins.

Over 15 seasons with the Bills, Reed was instrumental in four consecutive Super Bowl appearances (XXV-XXVIII), amassing 27 receptions for 323 yards across those games, ranking him third in career Super Bowl receptions and sixth in yards.
