Ann Arbor – The Game 1 test for Michigan freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood is complete, and now it’s on to something bigger, daunting and more important as a measuring stick.

Underwood played admirably in a 34-17 season-opening victory against New Mexico on Saturday, throwing for 251 yards and a touchdown while spreading the ball to 10 receivers. But now Michigan prepares to head to Oklahoma, which also won its opener, 35-3 against Illinois State behind an impressive performance from quarterback John Mateer.
