Drafted 19th overall by the Indianapolis Colts in the 1996 NFL Draft out of Syracuse University, Harrison established himself as a precise and prolific receiver, forming an explosive combo with Peyton Manning.

Over 13 seasons with the Colts from 1996 to 2008, Harrison set franchise records in receptions (1,102), receiving yards (14,580) and touchdowns (128), helping the team to consistent playoff appearances.

His peak years included 1999, with 115 catches for a league-leading 1,663 yards and 12 touchdowns, and 2002, when he set an NFL single-season record with 143 receptions (later broken) for 1,722 yards and 11 scores, earning first-team All-Pro honors.
