GREENWOOD, Ind.— Indianapolis police say a pedestrian was killed early Sunday morning after being struck by a vehicle in Greenwood.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers say the crash happened around 1:41 a.m. in the 8800 block of U.S. 31 South near the Rural King.

Police say they responded to a report of a pedestrian struck crash. This was confirmed to be a fatal crash.

IMPD has not identified the victim.
