“They’re trying to earn a job,” Wray said. “We’ve got to see if they can play at this level, and if they can’t.”
The Attack wore their new Under Armour jerseys Sunday, but it was far from a true dress rehearsal with nine regulars out of the lineup, including reigning OHL Rookie of the Year Pierce Mbuyi, NHL prospects Carter George and David Bedkowski, and overages Declan Waddick and Lenny Greenberg.
