SHERWOOD Ore. (KPTV) - Crews are fighting a brush fire burning in a hay field north of Sherwood on Sunday afternoon, according to Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue.

At about 2:15 p.m., TVF&R asked people to avoid the area near Southwest Scholls-Sherwood Road and Southwest Elwert Road.

Firefighters said they were working to protect one structure from the flames, which are burning through a cut hay field.
