Attracting 'The Toxic Avenger's A-List Stars Was as Much a Surprise to Its Director as Anyone Else

One thing about Troma movies of the past is that they most definitely did not attract big-star names. However, Macon Blair’s reboot of The Toxic Avenger is setting that straight, having enlisted Peter Dinklage, Kevin Bacon, and Elijah Wood into its splatter-fest story featuring the most unorthodox superhero of the decade. While some people may be surprised to learn that getting A-List support for the movie was not that hard, no one was more surprised than Blair himself.
