Every August, I get to share one of my favorite announcements of the year: the Women of Impact, presented by WestStar. It’s a tradition at El Paso Inc. to pause and recognize six women whose leadership and service have shaped our community in significant ways.

Every class of honorees has its own character. Some years, we see a wave of health care leaders or educators. This year’s group stands out for the deeply personal way they’ve turned life experience into impact through education, advocacy, philanthropy, business or the arts. And also this year, I note a strong interconnection between the women and certain nonprofits, more than I’ve seen in years past. Congratulations to these women. We are honored to share your stories.
