On Monday at 3:05 a.m. a heat advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Tuesday noon until Wednesday 9 p.m. for West Columbia River Gorge I-84 Corridor, Upper Hood River Valley and Central Columbia River Gorge I-84 Corridor.
The weather service comments, "Afternoon high temperatures in the mid to upper 90s and overnight low temperatures in the mid 60s to low 70s expected."
"Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses," describes the weather service.
