NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - North Charleston Police say they helped pull a once-submerged car from a retention pond.
Police say they responded to reports of the sunk vehicle on the 2100 block of Northwoods Boulevard.
Everyone was out of the car and nobody was hurt when police arrived.
The North Charleston Traffic Unit and Dive Team responded and the divers used airbags to life the vehicle before a tow company then pulled it the rest of the way from the retention pond.
The circumstances that led to the car entering the retention pond remain unclear.
Police did not share when this occurred.
