A motorcyclist has died following a crash into a home in Berlin, Massachusetts, late Sunday night.

Few details were immediately available but Berlin police said in a Facebook post at 9:50 p.m. that people should avoid West Street in the area of Randall Road while first responders were on scene of a serious motor vehicle crash.

The police chief tells NBC10 Boston that the motorcyclist -- a man in his 20s -- died from his injuries.

Video from the scene shows a badly-mangled motorcycle that appeared to have gone up onto the front porch of a West Street house, crashing into the building and causing visible damage.

The home where the crash occurred is right next door to the West Street Tavern, a retsaurant in town.
