North Shore Health Network’s emergency department in Richards Landing will be closed for two days starting Tuesday .

The closure is prompted by physician shortages, a release says.

The department will be closed between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

Ambulances will take patients to NSHN’s site in Thessalon or Sault Area Hospital.
