MARTINSBURG — Art By Weeze started as a fun project that could keep Sheila Mace busy during retirement. She’s been creating art for as long as she can remember and loves sharing that passion with others. When Mace and her husband built their house in Martinsburg, they built around her art studio so she could continue developing her skills.

Because of her passion for art, Mace’s friend reached out and asked her to lead an art workshop at their business in Charles Town. Mace enjoyed leading the event so much that she decided to do it full time. She transformed an old office space into a classroom right by her studio and created Art By Weeze. She began hosting art parties and events, giving people the chance to express themselves and connect with others.
