It’s starting to look like the Sox have a postseason spot wrapped up. But we’ll all lived through 2011, so we know it’s not quite time to pop that champagne just yet.

Entering play today, the Sox sit 3.5 games behind he Blue Jays for the Al East and a half game behind the Yankees for the first Wild Card. They have a 2.5 game cushion between themselves and the Mariners for the third Wild Card, and a 5 game lead over the Rangers who are chasing the pack. Here’s what to watch for today:
