(KRON) – A man accused of trying to enter multiple homes in Vallejo was arrested, according to authorities.

The Vallejo Police Department officers were dispatched to an area near Caldwell Avenue and Concord Street at approximately 1:20 a.m. Thursday. Vallejo PD was informed that a man was “attempting to force entry into multiple homes.”

The suspect tried to force his way into a resident's home on Concord Street as the resident was opening the door, according to police. The resident was able to shut the door without the suspect entering.

Police said another resident informed authorities that the suspect was “banging on her front door and windows while trying to manipulate her doorknob with an unknown object.”
