AMES, Iowa —

Both teams will have reason for optimism Saturday when Iowa and Iowa State meet for the annual Cy-Hawk clash.

The Hawkeyes (1-0) haven't lost in Ames since 2011. The No. 22 Cyclones (2-0, 1-0 in Big 12 play) have won two of the last three overall games in the series, including last year's thriller that came down to a 54-yard field goal in the final seconds.

And this year, a national audience will tune in for all the drama. FOX is airing this year's game, and its "Big Noon Kickoff" pregame show will be live from Ames before kickoff.

Here's what to know about Saturday's game.
