A Pacific Power outage has stranded thousands of Portland customers without electricity.
As of 9 a.m. Monday, about 12,000 homes and businesses lacked power, according to the utility.
But close to 16,000 customers lacked power as of 5:17 a.m., when Pacific Power posted on social media that it expected power to be fully restored by 12:30 p.m.
"The cause of this outage is an emergency repair," the utility wrote.
