“Weapons” recaptured the top spot at the box office after briefly losing the crown to a Netflix movie, grossing $12.78 million over the four-day holiday weekend to lead all films in North America, according to industry estimates Monday.

After spending its first two weeks atop the chart, the Warner Bors. horror film — which stars Julia Garner and Josh Brolin — slipped behind “KPop Demon Hunters” last weekend, when the streaming service released the popular animated musical to theaters for a special two-day engagement.

Second place this weekend went to a 50th anniversary re-release of “Jaws,” which grossed $9.9 million Friday through Monday, Comscore reported.
