GRAND RAPIDS, MI - After enduring sweat-soaked summer conditioning sessions and nearly three weeks of grueling practices, high school football players across Michigan finally saw the fruits of their labor when Week 1 of the 2025 season kicked off over the weekend.

The Grand Rapids area saw several football standouts in Week 1, including a 273-yard rushing performance from a Grandville star, a 5.5-sack effort from a GR Catholic Central linebacker and a four-touchdown effort from a Zeeland West running back.
