OCEAN CITY — Hundreds joined a protest against President Donald Trump and his policies Monday on the Boardwalk, attending a daily flag raising ceremony at the Music Pier on Moorlyn Terrace before marching for several blocks.

Organized by Indivisible OCNJ, the Labor Day event was called “Workers Over Billionaires” and included a march along several blocks of the Boardwalk followed by a gathering in front of the landmark Music Pier.

“We’re here to show our support for the workers and also to make a statement about our concerns about what’s going on in the country today,” said Philip Winger, a Pennsylvania resident who has a summer home in Ocean City.
