Dizzy 7 kicks off the 12th season of Jazz in the Park, 6 p.m. Wednesday in the River Market Pavilions, 400 President Clinton Ave., overlooking Riverfront Park in Little Rock's River Market District.

The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau partners with Art Porter Music Education, Inc., which provides scholarships for Arkansas music students, for the monthlong series.
