WOODLAND PARK, Colo. (KKTV) - Woodland Park police arrested a man late last week after they say cell service communications towers were intentionally turned off Thursday afternoon, causing a major service outage in and around the city.
According to the Woodland Park Police Department (WPPD), services were interrupted for both civilians and emergency services in Teller County. Police said it was originally suspected that the weather was causing a power interruption to the local tower, and that is what cell service providers were telling customers who called.
