BEREA, Ohio — The Browns kicked off Bengals week with a morning practice on Labor Day, but their workhorse back, Quinshon Judkins, was nowhere to be found.
The Browns’ second-round pick out of Ohio State, Judkins remains unsigned and away from the team presumably while his agent, Todd France, and the Browns work through contract details.
It’s either that or perhaps the fact that the NFL is still reviewing Judkins’ domestic battery case could be a factor in the holdup.
The Browns are hopeful that Judkins will join the team in Berea this week, but no one knows for sure.
“I don’t have an update,” Kevin Stefanski said Monday.
If he arrives on Wednesday or Thursday, might it be possible to get him ready to face the Bengals?
“I can’t get into that,” Stefanski said. “Hard to speculate.”
