An estimated 250 people gathered in Savannah's Emmet Park on Monday and marched to Savannah City Hall on Bay Street as part of the Labor Day "Workers Over Billionaires" rally, hosted by Coastal Georgia for Democracy . They chanted, “Workers united, we will never be divided” and "Stand up! Fight back! Workers rights are under attack."

The advocacy group, also known as Savannah Indivisible, has held several protests this year, calling for transparency and accountability in Congress and the Trump administration. The Labor Day protest was a sign of solidarity to politians to put "people over profit," and was held in conjunction with Migrant Equity Southeast and 50501 .
