Micah Parsons received a clean bill of health before the trade that sent him from the Dallas Cowboys to the Green Bay Packers.

Parsons has reported that he has had lingering back issues that he has continued to deal with even after a clean MRI. But he was adamant about seeking a second opinion. Touchdown Wire has learned that Parsons has been dealing with an L4/L5 facet joint sprain in his back and may require an epidural injection ahead of Sunday's opener against the Detroit Lions.

NFL Insider Adam Schefter added on X that it is "still uncertain" if he will even suit up. Parsons had also been sitting out of the Cowboys' training camp due to the injury and his contract hold-in. During which he was receiving physical therapy and an anti-inflammatory, along with a five-day plan of Prednisone.

In four weeks, Parsons and the Packers will visit AT&T Stadium for a highly anticipated primetime showdown on September 28. Until then, Cowboys fans wish Micah Parsons health during his new career path with the Packers.
