CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WBTV) - Bill Belichick is the underdog ahead of his first game at UNC -- at least that’s how bettors see it.

Belichick -- the same man who led the Patriots to six Super Bowl titles -- was hired in December to revitalize a Tar Heels football program that struggled to a sub-.500 record in 2024.

The legendary coach’s stop at the University of North Carolina is his first foray into college football, but he previously said that he would run the UNC program like he would a pro one.
