MCDONALD COUNTY, Mo. — A 16-year-old boy was killed in a crash earlier today.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), at 11:25 a.m., on Sept. 1, on Route W, three miles east of Anderson, a teen from Bentonville, Arkansas, was driving a 2002 Tracker 800SX side-by-side. As the vehicle made a turn, the UTV overturned.

The 16-year-old was pronounced dead on the scene by the McDonald County Coroner.

This is Troop D's 88th fatality for 2025.
