PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - Two men were arrested after a shooting Friday afternoon in Portland’s Centennial Neighborhood that left one person seriously hurt, police said on Monday.

Officers responded around 2:45 p.m. Aug. 22 to reports of gunfire near Southeast 148th Ave. and Southeast Stark Street. They found a man seriously hurt at the scene. Police said officers gave lifesaving care before the victim was taken to a hospital.

The shooter had already left the scene, but police identified a suspect and car tied to the case. On Sunday, Aug. 24, police found the car in a parking lot on the 16000 block of East Burnside Street. Officers later found the suspect and another man near Southeast 139th Ave. and Southeast Stark St. Both were arrested and officers recovered a gun, police said.
