KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The early stages of a football season are all about establishing a team’s identity. Last year’s results don’t carry forward to a new season – as the slate is wiped clean before each season begins.

Chiefs’ defensive coordinator, Steve Spagnuolo, says he’s excited to learn how his 2025 defensive group will perform.

“The pieces change every year,” Spagnuolo told reporters on Monday. “There are guys that we had last year that we don’t have anymore. We’ve got some new pieces. It’s going to take a little bit.”
