LAS CRUCES, New Mexico (KTSM) — After a 19-3 win over Bryant to open the season, New Mexico State football now has its sights set on its next game against Tulsa at Aggie Memorial Stadium on Saturday, September 5.

New Mexico State has the chance to get off to the program's second 2-0 start to a season since 1999 and its first since 2014.

NEED TO IMPROVE

New Mexico State got the expected win in a game they were heavy favorites in, but they didn't look too impressive on offense.

"Good to get the first win under our belt. You watch a lot of film, a lot of things that clean up, and a lot of good things too," NMSU football head coach Tony Sanchez said Monday. "This is going to be probably our largest amount of growth is between week one and week two, and that's all over the country."
