The Braves won the Larissa Vartti Invitational at Munising Aug. 19 and placed fourth in Thursday’s Dale Phillips Invite in Marquette.

They resume in today’s Menominee Border Bash at North Shore Golf Club near Menominee at 4:30 p.m.

“The kids have shown a lot of improvement,” coach Gary Whitmer said. “The seniors have been here for four years and they’ve stepped up.”

The Braves have plenty of experience with nine upperclassmen on their team of 17.

Senior returners include Max Beauchamp, Austin Corey, Matt Hagenbusch, Grady Nelson, Teagan Reynolds, Tyler Soderman and Cole Williams.

Juniors are Chuck Cameron and Cristian Hayen.
