At least 800 people have been killed and more than 1,300 others are hurt after a 6.0 magnitude earthquake hit Afghanistan.
Those numbers are expected to rise as experts say the country could be dealing with aftershocks for days that can sometimes be worse than the initial quake.
This, as rescuers are still trying to get to every last person trapped.
In the Bay Area, the sizable Afghan community is hoping help is on the way.
