HEBER — The police received a report from Pioneers Memorial of a four-year-old patient wanting to report a sex offense against staff at Dogwood Elementary on Tuesday, Aug. 26. Deputy Carrillo and Deputy Aguirre contacted the patient’s mother, who was at the Pioneers Medical Emergency room.

The mother advised that she picked her daughter up from school that day at 1:50 p.m. and her daughter told her she had discomfort in her genital area. The mother examined her and saw redness in the genital area, according to police logs.

The child told her mother that a male teacher had wiped her when she used the restroom at school. The child’s mother contacted the school to report the incident and then went to PMH shortly after, where deputies were notified. On-call investigators arrived on scene an
