Police and paramedics are at the scene of a smash on a busy Stoke-on-Trent road. Witnesses say at least three cars have been involved in the Normacot collision.

One ambulance and a police car have been spotted at Lightwood Road's junction with Chaplin Road. One motorist said: "At least three cars have been involved. One has quite a bit of damage to the front."

Meanwhile traffic monitoring system Inrix is reporting how the smash has resulted in 'heavier traffic than usual in the area'.
