No matter how experienced you are or how many dogs you have saved earlier, nothing prepares you for the heartbreak of seeing a helpless dog in a desperate situation.

When Arturo Flores, a long-time rescuer from California, received a call about a dog struggling on a chain in an alley, he thought it would be a typical rescue. But upon arrival, he discovered two more tiny furballs in a cardboard box nearby.

Shocked by the harrowing sight, Flores immediately sprang into action, doing his best to help the pups in need.

Heartbreaking Conditions

It was late at night when Arturo arrived in the alley and spotted a helpless Poodle mix tied to a railing. But even more shocking, there were also two of her puppies next to her , while she lay defeated.
