Grimsley won without its star quarterback and Page makes biggest leap after a statement win over Northwest Guilford.
1. Grimsley (2-0) Last week: No. 1 The Whirlies won despite star quarterback Faizon Brandon being out with a thumb injury. His replacement, freshman Brody Lowe, completed 18 of 29 passes for 344 yards and two touchdowns against a West Forsyth defense that shut out Davie County in week one. Overall, the offense had 512 yards after West Charlotte held it to 261 last week.
2. East Forsyth (2-0)
Last week: No. 4 The Eagles defense had four interceptions, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries and held then-No. 2 Northern Guilford, who scored 47 points against Reidsville last week, to just 10.
