There’s a long list of experienced running backs who have already proved themselves in Oklahoma high school football .

Some are at new schools looking to make an impact. Others will try to finish strong at where they started.

With the 2025 season underway, here are the top 10 running backs to watch throughout the state.

10. Judson Gilliland, Sr., Mustang

He’ll end his high school career at Class 6A-I Mustang following a stellar tenure at Class 4A Bethany, where he had 199 carries for 1,351 yards and 29 touchdowns as a junior. Gilliland also had 132 tackles while playing linebacker.

9. Shawn Rounsaville Jr., Sr., Tuttle
