A mother was left furious after discovering a pervert had been sending inappropriate messages to her teenage daughter on TikTok.

She discovered Jack Spencer used the social media platform to proposition the girl with £500 for sexual acts. His scheme was thwarted the next day when the girl's mother conducted a routine check of her daughter's account.

This led to the police uncovering that the same man had been sending similar messages to numerous other children, and had also amassed a disgusting collection of indecent images. Liverpool Crown Court heard how Spencer, from Southport, approached the girl on TikTok in January of the previous year using the username "Jack47".
