EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — NAMI Walks Evansville is kicking off its 2025 event season with a community gathering aimed at raising mental health awareness.

The event, hosted by NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, invites community members to learn about mental health advocacy and participate in activities like mini golf or laser tag for a $10 entry fee.

"Mental Health for All" is the message NAMI Walks Evansville wants to spread, emphasizing that it starts with each of us.

The kickoff event will be held on Sunday, September 7, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Walthers Golf and Fun in Evansville.
