The first day of September arrived the same as the last day of August departed. Morning low clouds with afternoon clearing. This creates comfortable afternoon temperatures which one could call seasonal. Our average high today is 80 degrees but slips to 79 degrees on Wednesday. It’s all downhill from here folks.

The new wrinkle in the forecast this week is that the excessive heat will not develop, so forget the real hot stuff. Thank goodness the atmosphere will treat us nicely and allow highs today and Wednesday to hover around 90 degrees. It will be in the 80s Thursday and Friday then a quick drop into the 70s for the weekend.
