Three people were shot and injured in two separate shootings an hour apart in D.C. on Labor Day, according to D.C. police.
The first shooting happened at about 4:15 p.m. at the Brentwood Recreation Center in Northeast D.C. where a man was shot several times, according to police.

News4 video shows bullet casings in a picnic area behind the center and neighbors told News4 that they heard at least four gunshots. The man was taken to a nearby hospital to undergo surgery.
