Graham Greene, the Oscar-nominated actor who starred alongside Kevin Costner in the award-winning film “Dances with Wolves,” has died, according to reports. He was 73.

In statement to Deadline, Greene’s agent, Michael Greene, confirmed the Canadian actor died Monday in a Toronto hospital after battling a “lengthy illness.” No further details on the matter were provided.

“He was a great man of morals, ethics and character and will be eternally missed,” the statement continued. “You are finally free. Susan Smith is meeting you at the gates of heaven,” he added, referencing the actor’s longtime agent, who died in 2013.
