Buffalo-native Jessica Pegula is competing in a US Open quarterfinals match Tuesday, Sept. 2 after defeating all four of her tournament opponents in straight sets.

The No. 4 seed will go head-to-head against Barbora Krejčíková after beating Ann Li — 6-1, 6-2 — in less than an hour on Sunday and has only lost 17 games in the tournament so far.
